The BUG-A-SALT 3.0 is specifically tailored to the needs of the more serious fly hunter. Those who are fluent in handling equipment of this nature will appreciate custom improvements such as the cross-bolt safety, trigger redesign, and Patridge sight (not to be confused with the bird, sight is named after the famous rifleman Patridge).
We are very proud of this new, lethal edition to our family. However, we must warn that instead of leaving flies whole for easy cleanup, it may splatter them. Lorenzo also assures the 3.0 model greatly increases odds for in-flight take down.

- BUG-A-SALT 3.0 works great on annoying soft-bodied insect pests: Houseflies, Flesh Flies, Horse Flies, Deer Flies, Black Widow Spiders, Mosquitoes, Crickets, Stink Bugs, Silverfish, Roaches (small-large), Sweater Moths, and Cabbage Worms.

Can I use anything besides salt in the Bug-A-Salt?
NO! Using other substances will cause problems with your Bug-A-Salt. Warranty is voided if other substances are used.
Is the Bug-A-Salt dangerous?
No, only if misused: Do not shoot anyone in face or eyes. Treat it with respect like any equipment. It will not penetrate skin or damage furniture.
What kind of salt does it use?
Ordinary table salt from your local super market.
Will the salt splatter the bug?
No, the bug will remain whole for easy clean up.
How much salt does the Bug-A-Salt shoot?
A pinch of salt.
How many blasts before i need to reload?
The blaster will hold about 70-80 blasts before reloading.
How do i unclog a salt pin?

Can you provide parts so i can repair my blaster?
Due to supply chain issues, we want to make sure our customers are aware BUG-A-SALT cannot offer replacement parts for the blasters. On our end, please note BUG-A-SALT is aware there are videos on YOUTUBE showing folks how to repair our blasters. Sorry to report, BUG-A-SALT is not affiliated with the folks creating repair videos, and we absolutely cannot supply parts right now (as the video might suggest).
What if my Bug-A-Salt breaks?
If the trouble shooting doesn’t help, you’re in luck! Lorenzo stands by our product and we take our 1-year warranty policy against factory defects seriously.
If you are past 1-year. On a case by case basis, we do our best to take care of any issues our customers are having.
Please do not disassemble your BUG-A-SALT or do something stupid like put sand in it, as this will void our warranty policy.

Bought one for my son-in-law as a birthday present, looked so much fun bought myself one and it came while I was away on holiday. My son opened it, said it was cool and took it back to his house. I then bought a third gun and finally got to play with it. It’s an amazing weapon flies don’t stand a chance, best with rock salt for better distance or table for a better spread for flying pests. Works best at about metre away. It’s like you leave the back door open because you want flies to come in. My granddaughter is a vegetarian and thinks it’s mean but killing flies is OK right?

Dear bug a salt. Just received my new fly-fuvker-upper 3000 with lazer target acquisition. Delighted is not the word. Very impressed with the build quality and weight. It’s good to know in a pinch that if I ran out of ammo I could still beat an insect to death. Unfortunately it has inspired some Vietnam flashbacks and I had to increase lethality by attaching bayonet. Please have your R and D department contact me for schematics and technical specifications.

Works very well. Definitely less flies around in my house. Works well even when they are flying about. The lazer was worth it. They stand no chance is they land.
